Facilitation + Graphics = Magic!

Are you struggling to plan an important meeting? Do your Mission, Vision, and Values fail to inspire? Do you need a Strategy that can actually be implemented?  One of my favorite things is to lead Mission, Vision, and Values sessions! I love it when a group of leaders drops the formality and gets to the heart of what they do, and, most importantly: WHY they do it. They never fail to be surprised by what bubbles up into the conversation, and how it ends up in their final Vision Statement. It’s my goal to help the group find meaningful words, and when we get it just right, it is magical.

Graphics help sustain Commitment and Execution, whether it’s a Strategic Plan or a Major Change Effort. Nothing is worse than spending a day or two working hard on a plan and then watching it gather dust as nothing really happens. Large-Scale Graphics help in 4 ways:

1. The graphic template shows the group clearly what the objective is and motivates them to complete the “picture”.
2. When people see their words on the wall, they know they’ve been heard, and don’t feel the need to cover the same ground over and over again.
3. There’s something about the simple graphics that “takes the heat out” of tough conversations and conflict.
4. After the meeting, the original large graphic and digital versions can be used effectively to keep people on track and inspired to achieve their goals.

Put simply, a great meeting requires a great meeting design and someone focused on the process: the right structure helps you reach your objectives, and an outside facilitator can manage differing opinions and other challenges.  I’ll design and facilitate your event to meet ALL your objectives, soft and hard.
